TWO POSTS IN ONE DAY!
Cant get any more special than that! The thought that I am actually caught up enough in my life that I can make two posts today. The only thing that could make this better would be to actually have something to do. . . on this Friday night . . . at 8:30 . . . besides writing this post. . . .
:-(
Oh well.
Maybe I should get a dog.

Blog searching
I have ran across some really cool blogs lately. Just kind of searching open blogs. I like finding out about people. Hearing their stories. Sharing their laughter. Knowing that I am not alone. Knowing that other people have bad days too.

Never really a fully loaded train. . . .
I started this blog as an attempt to begin documenting some of my random thoughts. The ironic thing is that I realized that I never really have a fully loaded train of thought to begin with. So this truly is random gibberish.
I would like to start with a comment about my disdain for the current use of the English language. It seems that society today would much rather confine itself to a very small list of words. Even though Webster's continues to add words to their volumes, it seems that most of the words are slang or tokens, like brb, lol, or the infamous rofl. Don't get me wrong, I have never been against a good rofl. I feel bad that word lists are limited, no longer are they assimilated, but abreviated and terse. Maybe we need to start an "adopt a word" program. Maybe that will increase the love of little known words. Then maybe Webster's can open up other avenues instead of trying to keep up with new hip slang like "bling" and "cankle" (although that one I really like!).

New Year
Its a new year and with that comes a new blog.
Its snowing today. Just wish it would have done that on a day that I could sit with a cup of coffee and watch the snow.
